If you’re looking for someone to pay you a living wage while you sit at home doing easy work, the dead ends are going to come fast and hard.
Your best option is to start a small business based on your skills. Promoting it will obviously involve sales, but it’s your best chance at making a living outside of the normal employer-employee job market.
What skills do you have? What kind of work have you done in the past? You will always make more money doing something you have experience in than unskilled labor. If you have no specific skills, I would suggest that you make something and sell it online. Start with ebay and craig’s list and work up to your own website. Some small home based businesses I have seen include custom costumes, baby quilts, handmade stationary, etc… I also heard of someone who makes homemade cakes and delivers them to families in her neighborhood. You are going to need to be creative and to work hard, but it can be done.
You said that “none of these are what you are looking for”. So, what is it that you ARE looking for? I suggest that you keep an open mind and investigate a lot of different things. 1,000’s of people are joining MLM’s and direct sales companies every day, and more millionaires are being made in those industries than any other. Some of my favorite purchases come from MLM’s - CAbi clothes, Gold Canyon Candles, Southern Living at Home, Cookie Lee Jewelry, Premier Designs Jewelry, Body Shop at Home, Mary Kay . . . and my favorite: Reliv nutrition which has helped my daughter be pain free from fibromyalgia symptoms and provides a consistent income for my family! If you find the right company, you may find that your passion becomes your source of income - and that’s just the best thing ever.
